The Halle Zoo is the only zoo in the city, featuring over 1,700 animals on nine hectares. There are special enclosures for elephants, crocodiles, and other predators, all integrated into the hillside upon which the zoo is built. From the hill, you also have a beautiful view of the city. The zoo is centrally located in the middle of the city near many restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues for children.
