First off, from all of us at Volunteer in Germany, we’d like to thank you for your consideration to volunteer, intern, study, or teach at our campus. Whether you plan to teach English, study German or Arabic, or a combination thereof, we can assure you that this experience will provide an opportunity for tremendous growth and excitement in an international environment with like-minded travelers. Our outstanding team will do everything possible to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable stay, and we can hardly wait to welcome you into our family.

As an international volunteer, intern, or student, you will be making important contributions to the immigrant population here in Germany. While embracing a new lifestyle, you will also be meeting plenty of new people including Germans, Arabs, and other internationals. You will have the opportunity to learn a new language, hone your teaching skills, and engage with immigrants and refugees from in and around the city of Halle. We hope that this experience will allow you to engage fully with new cultures, forge strong relationships, and challenge yourself.

In this article, we will provide you with more information about the admission process to all our programs offered at Volunteer in Germany.

When can I start?

Volunteer in Germany accepts applications and participants all year round, with the majority of our programs lasting between one week to three months in duration. You can freely choose your starting and ending dates. At Volunteer in Germany, the main programs we offer are German and Arabic language classes, internship programs, Arabic online courses, and English teaching volunteer programs.

It is worth noting for our international volunteers that most standard visas for entering the EU last for a maximum of 90 days, however, should you wish to stay in Europe longer we can help you acquire a Student Visa.
